Namibia borders Angola, Botswana, South Africa, and Zambia by land. The Atlantic Ocean is its western maritime border, while the Cunene River forms part of its border with Angola to the north, and the Orange River forms a large part of its border with South Africa to the south. The Zambezi River forms part of the border with Zambia and the Cuando/Chobe River forms part of the border with Botswana in the Caprivi Strip.
